Agriculture/Plant:soya.N An annual plant native to East Asia that is widely cultivated for its fruit. 2027
-> I propose:
Plant:soya plant.N
Food:soya bean.N The edible seed of the soybean plant which contains a lot of protein. 2028
-> I propose:
Ingestion:soya bean.N
Plant:soya.N soya, soybean (plant/seed of sp. Glycine max) 1095
-> I propose:
Plant and ingestion:soya.N
Not perfect at all, and even dirty, but it does the job ^^

Re: Soya plant and soya bean... and both
This is my solution.
Plant:Glycine max.N An annual plant native to East Asia that is widely cultivated for its fruit. 2027 1095
Ingestion:Glycine max.N The edible seed of the soybean plant which contains a lot of protein. 2028
It's because definitions in ULD are less precise than in Concepticon. We just have to use common sense and move the ULD id to the same row with the most suitable Concepticon definition.
"Soybean" is one of those words that is used in two senses, firstly for the seed and secondly for the whole plant as "pars pro toto", as this linguistic phenomenon is called.
